WORCESTER - The Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging Inc. has always supported grandparents who are taking an active role in their grandchildren's lives, offering support groups and other services, but soon, Worcester senior citizens will have a new place to go for help. The Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging recently announced the development of Grandparents Raising Grandkids Resource Center, which will focus on hiring and training community health workers to support families with Black, Indigenous and people of color in which grandparents are the primary caretakers.
